This offering comes from a very small group of cooperative growers in Papua New Guinea. While sampling this lot, the rich flavor profile pleasantly surprised us. We normally don’t find lots with this complex profile in a decaffeinated offering from this region. We have a single bag of this naturally grown beauty so enjoy!

This decaffeinated coffee has an herbal and floral note of Jasmine. It has a sweet note of toasted marshmallow, cocoa, and a nutty finish.
After selection, the green coffee is pre-soaked in water to expand the beans for caffeine extraction. The beans are then introduced to a solution concentrated with coffee solubles that extract the caffeine without extracting the coffee’s particular flavor. No chemicals are used in the extraction of the caffeine.
