“Ultra-Specialty” is the name Fig Leaf uses for exceptional coffees that go beyond the everyday lineup. These offerings are difficult to find, available in very limited quantities, and sometimes impossible to source again. Some selections are available exclusively through this gift subscription.

Experience coffees such as Gesha varieties, honey-processed and anaerobically fermented selections, and true microlots with scores in the 90s. Each coffee is selected for its distinctive character and roasted to highlight what makes it special.

What to Expect

Each shipment includes detailed farm and producer information, along with tasting notes, so you can learn about the coffee’s origin while exploring its flavor.

To get the most from each selection:

• Choose whole bean when possible. Grinding just before brewing helps preserve the coffee’s aroma and flavor.

• Buying a gift? Check whether the recipient has a grinder. If ordering ground coffee, choose the grind that matches their brewing method.

Monthly Delivery

Shipments follow the week in which you purchase the subscription. For example, a purchase made during the first week of December is scheduled to ship during the first week of the following month.

Whenever possible, packages ship early in the week to reduce the chance of sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. Shipping dates may be adjusted to help avoid foreseeable transit delays.
